What did Kirti Trivedi say?

Short answer

Order reveals itself.

Long answer

There is a teaching I keep returning to: to become a designer, you need to understand only three things. Order, hierarchy, and mapping. Not as techniques, but as ways of seeing.

Order is the relationship between components. Hierarchy is their relative importance. Mapping is how you choose to make that visible, and this is where your personal voice enters. When you receive raw text, all at the same size, all at the same weight, nothing is communicating. The act of design is making those hidden relationships self-evident.

What strikes me most is the idea of dynamic order, an arrangement that remains balanced even as new elements arrive. Order is not a fixed state. It is a living, evolving condition.
