What did Rohan talk about on the podcast?

I have this presentation that starts with me asking viewers to identify three sets of entities. The first set is two celebrities. The third is a species of dragonfly, very common in India, called ground skimmer. Most people can identify the celebrities, but not the dragonfly. And that is my main complaint, because our lives revolve more around the dragonfly than around those celebrities. The dragonfly eats mosquitoes and saves us from diseases.

Biodiversity and conservation should occupy the front pages of newspapers. I try to infuse as much life, as much zing as possible into that kind of communication, so that it becomes a step toward making it mainstream. There is a lot to do in terms of creative communication around ecology and conservation. Humor is a very good tool to break down and simplify nuances in this discourse.
