What’s the job of a design leader

When you are a designer, you have two hands and you're doing something on Figma or Photoshop. But imagine now you have twenty hands. How can you orchestrate those twenty hands so your actual skill changes but still your outcome is good design. As a team leader, making sure that your team is running the show is one part. But the other part is also to inspire the team. And inspiring the team happens in many forms, pep talks or mentorship. One part is also to let your team know that you are one of the best person when it comes to doing design, so that they look up to you. If you do not do enough hands-on work, even in small quantities, they don't have that evidence. Once in a while you just keep doing it.
