Short answer

Long answer
Our nature of problem is completely different compared to what the West deals with. We are not a luxury economy. We are not a nation which rests itself on producing grand cars, or industrially produced furniture, or lifestyle luxury products. Majority of our population has specific problems. Do I have a great transport solution to go from Mumbai to some village? Probably not. So our country has a very different nature of problems, which probably we need to solve. However, we have an issue of mindset, and that is something we need to address. We need to build awareness of design and try to get that mindset of using good services and good products into our day to day life. That needs to come into the general use, not just of people, but also of people who are governing and servicing them.
